Upon arrival in Marrakech, we will meet you at the airport and take you to your riad in the Medina. The evening is yours to rest or wander through Jemaa el-Fna square, where storytellers, musicians, and food stalls bring the city to life. Overnight in a traditional riad.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. You will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the lively souks filled with colors and scents. In the afternoon, stroll through the peaceful Majorelle Garden. Overnight in your riad.
We leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, we stop at the Kasbah of Telouet before continuing through the Ounila Valley to reach Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. By afternoon, we arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight in a kasbah-style guesthouse.
From Ouarzazate, the journey takes us through the Draa Valley before heading off-road. We enjoy a picnic along the way. By afternoon, we reach Tafraoute Sidi Ali, the place where I was born and raised in a nomad family. Here you will share ftour with locals and spend the night in a small guesthouse.
We continue deeper into the desert, driving across oases, dunes, and black rocky mountains. After a picnic lunch, we reach Mharech (Boulachghal), where my family runs a simple guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. In the evening, we gather around the fire, bake bread in the sand, and enjoy dinner under the stars.
This day is dedicated to walking in the desert. We trek through the dunes and the Sahara Desert, stopping for a picnic lunch in the silence of the landscape. In the evening, we cook tagine over the fire and sleep in simple tents beneath the open sky.
A second day to experience the vast desert. We explore hidden spots by foot or by vehicle. If fortune allows, we may meet nomad families moving with their herds. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp among the dunes.
After breakfast, we drive towards Alnif. Along the way, we stop at my father’s house to see his animals and visit the small school where I studied as a child. Later, we continue to Agdz and stay in a peaceful lodge surrounded by palm groves
Today we cross the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech. On the way, we stop at the Tizgui Waterfalls for a short hike, and you may swim if you wish. By evening, we arrive in Marrakech for your final night in a riad.
After breakfast, and depends on your flight time we will do the transfer to the airport for your flight home.
